Example: Main Screen ⇒ Mosaic Size: 200 megapixel.
  2. Signup for a free account on GigaPan

  5. After filling the other required parameters proceed with the upload.
  6. Enjoy your published mosaic by finding particular pictures or sharing it with friends.
  7. You may embed the resulting mosaic on your own web page.

Gigapixel Mosaics
If you want to create large mosaics beyond the limit of the standard JPG/PSD/TIFF file format, you can use the following steps:

  1. Create a large Mosaic in TIFF file format:
    • Example: Main Screen ⇒ Mosaic Size: 2 gigapixel.
Note: For a size over 200 megapixels you need the Professional version of AndreaMosaic. Contact me if you need a mosaic over 100 gigapixels.
    • Press the options Options button and select File Format: Best Quality (.TIFF)(64bit).
  2. Signup for a free account on GigaPan
  3. Download and Install the free GigaPan Upload software version 2.2 or later (Note: it will install also a 15 days trial of the Stitchy Software).
  4. Run the GigaPan Upload Software. It will ask you for a Stitched Image. Select the created mosaic, it will have the .TIFF file extension.
  5. After filling the other required parameters proceed with the upload. Some patience is required because it could take hours to complete the upload.
  6. Enjoy your published mosaic by finding particular pictures or sharing it with friends.

Note: Only few applications support the large TIFF file format (64bit file format). For a better compatibility (but slower upload to GigaPan) use the Photoshop PSB file format which is also limited to 300.000 pixels in Width/Height. Another alternative is the RAW file format. In that case you need to enable also the option Text Report & Mosaic Settings: [x] to get the exact Width/Height of the Mosaic when requested by GigaPan or other image readers.

Enjoy!
Peace & Love.
