Hi,

I'm creating a mosaic and have saved around 700 photos to use in the mosaic. I don't mind that the software would like to use each image more than once, but I want to be certain that it uses all of them. Is there a way of making certain that this happens..?

I feel at present the software uses what it needs to complete the final mosaic regardless of whether it uses all of the images!

The option [x] Use all Images will try to use every image. There can be reasons that one image is not used:
1) the tile lies on the edge (seems that it isn't used)
2) you have many landscape images but few landscape tiles, and rotation 90 degrees is disabled
3) you have more images than tiles. It's impossible to use all images.

I seem to be having the same issue. I have 681 photos that I am using to create the image, but it is only using 672 to create the image. The parameters list a tile count of approx 712, and I have checked use every image. I am trying to create a mural for my children's school and want to make sure I am including every student. Also wondering what resolution to use for a 6 foot by 4 foot image. I just have the free program. Thank you. I love the program!!

If Rotate 90 degrees is disabled then AndreaMosaic must match a portrait image with a portrait tile (and a landscape image with a landscape tile). It is possible that you haven't enough tiles for the kind of image. Try the Beta version of AndreaMosaic, it will show you some more information in the Mosaic Information Area.

About the resolution set "Mosaic Size: 210 megapixel", it will give you the highest possible in that version, which is needed for a 6 foot mosaic.
