Every time I try to do a parquet layout, the portrait sections are just black. I finally realized that my tile archive says 1854L + 1P. Now, when I look through the photos I am using, probably close to 1/5 are in portrait orientation when I open them up. Why then does AM think I have only one? This leads me to believe that this might not be an issue with AM, but my files. Anyone have an idea on why this might be the case?? I'm on a Mac by the way. Thanks in advance.

Hi,

Actually the orientation is based on the Width/Height of the image (tile). If the Height is greater than the Width then it's a Portrait image. Mmm... Maybe in your images have all the Width>Height but an extra information (EXIF) in the JPG file that tells about the orientation of the image (i.e. it should be rotated after loading). Can you send me by email one of these images?
The fact that you use a Mac is not important. JPEG is a standard.

First of all, would like to thank you for the great program. Very cool. I'm sure you already knew that based on all the responses on this forum.

I too have the same problem. When analyzing the tiles, all are added in landscape format despite having nearly 35% portrait. Wondering if you solved this issue for the previous user.

I too use a Mac although I agree with you that this should not be a problem. I shoot with a Nikon D200.

Thanks.

Hi,

The latest beta version should fix the problem. It has several other new interesting features. If not then please let me know about.
