 Post subject: Tiles always landscape?
PostPosted: Thu Nov 04, 2004 4:41 am
Hello to the peaople there in the forum!
First I'd like to point out how much I appreciate the fact that there are people out there (Andrea!) spending their time programming and creating software and giving the results to the community. :D :!:
I have just started to use AndreaMosaic and I have a problem that I cannot work around:
I want to create a Photomosaic using many portraits (in portrait orientation), but in the resulting mosaic the tiles are all landscape. Am I missing something or have I overlooked a crucial point? Can anyone help me? The orientation of the portraits is o.k. when I load them, e.g. into Photopaint.
Yours, Stefan.

AndreaMosaic rotate all images if they are more height than width. If all images are portrait, then all will be rotated. A solution is to rotate also the original image -90 degrees before processing it with AndreaMosaic. So, the end result will be ok. I think another solution is to use AndreaMosaic Square version. May I can release a version specifically for Portraits.
