I'm sure most SMART people would be offended, or at least a little angry, because it's a historical fact that there was a Jesus. Whether he actually performed miracals, rose from the dead, and made people eat him is subject to debate. What you mean to ask is if he would be offended if there is/was no Christ. Personally I wouldn't, but you weren't asking me were you?!
