Andrea, you are listed on the "Somethingawful.com" site. You may be seeing quite a lot of posts here - so many that your fourm will be packed with filth, from pictures and text. They will also attampt to use all your bandwidth, forcing your site to go down. They did that to me and many others on the net. The owner of the site is a horrid man who spews hatred to his ignorant 'followers' - people who love to bother those of us who mind our own business. You know the type, the nutcases out there, filled with hate.

As PeterCottonTail so intelligently pointed out, this is a "fourm". I'm not sure what that means, but know this: Something Awful is a COMEDY SIGHT! It would be best to take their jests in stride, and try to refrain from sending them an angry letter, like PeterCottonCock likely did.

Being listed as Awful Link of the day is usually as much a shame as it is a priveledge, but Andrea's site is one of the least AWFUL Awful Links. In fact Reid (the "horrid man" who put up the link) went so far as to say it's really not that bad. It just deserves some making fun, which is all.

Just as a precaution, though, if posting images is allowed, I'd disable them for now.

Whoever made the first post, may have been put on it as well, but she loves Somethingawful.com enough to keep checking it, the site isnt that bad, really have seen a lot worse, the songs are a little much though!

"This is me" pages in general have a lot more potential for sucktitude. Geeze, don't get me started on that. Oh wait, you already did.

WHERE'S THE JUSTICE?!

While anyone is welcome to their opinion and we can't stop people from putting what they like on their site even if it is derogatory stuff about others, the whole thing on somethingawful just saddens me. I find this a lovely, lovely site that really rings a chord with me and I'm sure it does for others too. I've been over to somethingawful and there's plenty I could say about some of them--many of those folks just seem like miserable people who don't know how to do anything but lash out at others. Just negative and more negative. What losers.

That said, I'm a patron of godawful.com {godawful fan fiction} I guess I'm as guilty as the next person of having a laugh at someone else's expense. Just human nature I suppose. But quite a large chasm separates the content on this site from anything they post up for ridicule on there.
