I have had andrea mosaic for about a month now, the first ever mosaic i did worked a treat!

now all i get is black image created, one big black picture i've tried messing with the paramaters and size i want the picture to be about 20 x 30 inches and i have a library of 6,500 pictures.

Please could you help?

I'm very sorry for the late answer. Was quite busy lately. In the Select Tiles window can you see correctly alla available images (select from the list 'All Images (this list is populated after you Save the Archive)').
Please post the main parameters that you used for the mosaic.

I too have the same problem as Sarah. My first mosaics were great! Now I get mostly black pictures. I have selected the "all images" as you suggested, but this does not change the output. I can't figure out what has changed since the first few times I ran the program.

Why are my pictures black??

The most common reason is that you set a high value for the "Tile Duplication" distance or you set "no duplication". Try to make a mosaic using the default values. Another reason is that you moved your original images. Go in the Select Tiles window and press Save Archive.

Thanks! You're right - I needed to allow more duplication, since my picture is of a face, and therefore all areas of skin are mostly the same color.
