Hello, Im trying to make a picture mosaic with the final outcome of about 2x2ft. I've done this before on another program but forgot what program it was.

I was able to make a pretty big picture mosaic and printed it in four sections, then glued together to make the 2x2ft portrait.

Can you please advise what would be the best setting for something of this scale?

Submit to AndreaMosaic a main squared image, same width and height. You may use AndreaMosaic with square tiles, but this is a personal choice. Set Mosaic Size to 2 feet.

Ok, great thanks!

Can you recommend a program to use to split the images?

Set Mosaic Size: 2 feet
And use a Squared Image.
That's enough.

Tile Size is a personal preferrence. You may use Tiles x Row to get exact sizes without cropping last row/column.

AndreaMosaic can split automatically your final mosaic if you want, enable Split in the options. But it works well only if you use the basic pattern and you specify a split size that is a multiple of the tile size. An external program will have the same limitation.
