Actually, I was wondering how big typically do I have to make it (pixel-wise) in order to make a 12" x 8" printout, or poster size printout of it.
I'm thinking of making a picture for my friend, as their wedding presents.
Now, I need lots and lots of cute pictures though.
The only one that I found are natures, and cats.
For a high quality print a "pixel resolution" of 300 DPI is more than enough. So it means 12"x300 width and 8x300 height. So 3600x2400 pixels.
On the printer settings use a high resolution, like 720 DPI or 1440 DPI.
P.S.: if you have a video you can extract many images from there. even from movies.
