AndreaMosaic is completely free for personal or commerical use but the license require that you must help me making AndreaMosaic more popular by giving a reference/credit to AndreaMosaic.
Just download and run the setup file. It will install the program to your preferred folder. To create a mosaic follow the tooltips inside AndreaMosaic. But I strongly suggest to take a look at the manual. For any question just send me an email at or write a question in the Forum.

Mac OS X	On Mac you can run AndreaMosaic successfully using Parallels or Fusion. If you want a more native program then try to use CrossOver to run AndreaMosaic (please report any problems or successfull run). You may try the also free MacOSaiX.
Linux	On Linux you can run AndreaMosaic successfully with the free Wine Emulator which is available on most linux distributions using the standard installer (Synaptics, etc). After you installed Wine download and execute the AndreaMosaic Windows Setup. Click Here for more details about AndreaMosaic under Wine.

K-Lite Codec	Download the free K-Lite Codec Pack if you want to extract images from video/movie files using AndreaMosaic. You don't need to install the entire package but only a few Video for Window codecs. Those older components don't create any problems with your existing video/audio configuration. Follow the instructions in this video or the next four steps: Download the Full version Run the setup and click Next until you reach the Select Components Window From the list box choose the last profile option: Deselect All Then scroll down the list and select only the VFW Video codecs. Click Next until installation is complete. Note: For Windows 98/ME/NT you need to download version 3.4.5 of K-Lite Full Codec Pack. You may need to install also DirectX 8.1 or later.

Compatibility
Windows - Vista, XP, Windows 2000, Windows 2003 and Windows 98/ME/NT (should work on Windows 95 too).
Linux - On Linux you can run AndreaMosaic successfully with the free Wine Emulator.
